My Works

        First I started my experiment works by building small circuits. I have built L.E.D. light systems, security alarm systems, water sensitive alarms, FM radios, Amplifiers, simple transmitters. Etc.

        When I was in grade 12, I got a computer (Pentium 3). Then I started to write some simple Pascal programs to control light systems via serial (COM) port. By doing self studies, I have learn lot of thing from my PC. I have never done a certificate or diploma level computer course untill I do my IT degree.

Here are some of my recent works,

1.      Find the possibilities of implementing a cost effective stock cutting system, EI Technologies, Sri Lanka

2.      Online GIS & road information management system using AspMap 3.0, ASP.net 2005 & AJAX,  EI Technologies, Sri Lanka

3.      Provided a user training in Sinhalese language for collecting data by using hand held GPSs, Provincial Road Development Authority, Kandy, Sri Lanka.

4.      Prepare presentations, Arrange GPS demonstrations, provide the experience of 3D anaglyph & GIS customization for the 10^th anniversary exhibition, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri lanka.

     Title:” Low Cost Vehicle Navigation System by using a Global Positioning System with high availability of maps”
